Who We Are:
Founded in 2011, Tangulbei Women Network (TAWN) is a registered Community-Based Organization (CBO) dedicated to advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment in Baringo County, Kenya. We believe that a just and inclusive society is possible when women and girls are given the tools, opportunities, and support to thrive.
Vision:
A just and inclusive society where all women and girls, especially the marginalized and at-risk, are empowered to thrive, lead, and contribute meaningfully to economic and social development.
Mission:
To empower women in Tiaty, Baringo, through economic inclusion, education, leadership development, and protection from gender-based violence, fostering a safe and enabling environment for their full participation in society.

Where We Work:
We operate in Tiaty West, Tiaty East, and Tiaty Central sub-counties of Baringo County, Kenya.
Memberships & Networks:
TAWN is an active member of the Baringo Gender Sector Working Group and the Baringo Civil Society Organizations Forum (BACSOF), where we advocate, coordinate, and advance gender equality and women’s rights.

Education & Mentorship: Promoting girls’ education and providing mentorship programs for young women leaders.
